Suzuki Strings

Children ages 3 to 18 can find their musical voices through Suzuki-inspired courses in violin and viola.

Our goal is to provide rich and enjoyable musical experiences that will contribute to the development of self-confident, happy children. Students receive weekly private lessons as well as twice-a-month group classes. Under the Suzuki method, listening to music daily is as vital as practicing performance techniques.

The Suzuki program requires active participation of a parent, including attendance at lessons and daily pratice with the child. A positive musical experience shared between parent and child is central to the Suzuki philosophy.

All individual lessons are arranged by appointment with the Arts Academy director. To schedule an appointment, please send an e-mail to bhcArtsAcademy@dcccd.edu or call 972-860-4274.
