Subject: Registration

Brookhaven College establishes and publishes the appropriate dates for registration in accordance with the DCCCD Academic Calendar.

All registration dates for the current semester are published in the semester web-based class schedule. The deadlines for application and/or submission of documents, if established, are also published in the semester class schedule.

All student applicants must meet admission requirements, as stated in the College catalog, before they are eligible to register for classes (see “Eligibility” below).

In order to be eligible for registration, a student either must be:

  1. A continuing student (one who was enrolled during the previous academic year) or;
  2. A new, transfer, or re-admit student who has filed an application, been accepted for admission, and supplied all required transcripts, TSI and/or residency information.

Eligible students must:

  1. Complete new student orientation;
  2. Complete appropriate assessment;
  3. Complete academic advising, if required;
  4. Complete the Student Information Profile (SIP) prior to registration;
  5. Proceed to registration with an academic advisor or register online on eConnect if eligibility requirements are met.
Registration Eligibility and Requirements

In the interest of convenience and timeliness, Brookhaven College provides and supports the following registration options:

  1. Walk-in registration;
  2. eConnect web-based registration.
Registration Options

Students who wish to ADD or DROP courses for which they had previously registered must make those changes during the published registration dates.
