The Human Resources Office has added the Deer Oaks monthly newsletter to the employee intranet so these materials can be accessible to employees all the time.
Deer Oaks is the district’s Employee/Dependent Assistance Program, EDAP, provider. Each newsletter contains information about topics related to work and life.
For supervisors, the topics focus on workplace morale, employee relations and various other issues. For employees, there is a variety of topics addressed from finance to health to parenting, depending on the issue. Deer Oaks, as the district’s EDAP, provides employees and their dependents with six pre-paid counseling sessions per problem incident.
