Late Nights, Dallas Museum of Art

Stay up late for an evening of mystery and magic at the Dallas Museum of Art!

Oct. 19, 6 p.m.—midnight

Enjoy performances of Danse Macabre and Halloween songs. Embark on mystery tours of the Museum and enjoy magic shows, pumpkin-carving demonstrations, free Starbucks beverages, hayrides, and more. After hours, don't miss open mic poetry and a DJ performance by Ghosthustler. General admission is $10 or less, free for members. Call 214-922-1200 for additional information.

Autumn at the Arboretum: The Great Pumpkin Festival

Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden

Now through Oct. 31

Chrysanthemums, marigolds, pumpkins and ornamental peppers will lend their warm colors to the fall foliage at the annual Autumn at the Arboretum festival. Ongoing daily activities through October include an enormous pumpkin patch where you can buy a pumpkin or just explore, a house made of pumpkins, a hay bale maze and hayrides. Bison Tour

Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning Area

The Lewisville Lake Environmental Learning and Wildlife Management Area offers guided bison tours on the last Sunday of each month. The cost if just $2 for bison tour in addition to the $3 regular admission; free for ages 4 and under. Call 972-219-7980 or 972-219-3930 for more information.
