Get your order in early and you can take a homemade treat to your Thanksgiving gathering. No, it won’t be made in your home, but it’s been homemade by your fellow employees for the Professional Support Staff Association Bake Sale.
After a successful sale that added a way for people to pre-order their favorite items last year, the PSSA has order books open for the pre-Thanksgiving sale this year. There’s a wide variety of pies, cakes, cookies and brownies that can be pre-ordered and will be delivered straight to the purchaser’s office just before the holiday.
From lemon blueberry Amish cake to buttermilk pies or from German chocolate brownies to traditional pumpkin pie, pick your favorite and place your order with Julie Stearman or Jamie Jenkins in Workforce and Continuing Education at extensions 4367 and 4651, respectively. The deadline for pre-orders is Nov. 19. If you miss your opportunity to pre-order, there will still be treats available for sale on Nov. 20 in the Student Services Center, Building S.
