Notes on the Next Vice President for Student Success

The candidates for the Vice President for Student Success are meeting with student, employee groups and in open forums this
week. Over the coming days everyone will have the opportunity to meet and question the candidates for the vice president’s
position.
M. Melissa Lavender from Gulf Coast Community College met with the college on April 15. Oscar Lopez from Richland College
is meeting with the college on April 16. Deborah Garrett formerly of Ivy Tech Community College will be meeting with the
college on April 17. The search committee will be taking comments from those who attended any of the forums meeting with
one of the candidates. Encourage students to attend the open forum as well as the meeting with students.
