As the semester winds down to the end, but before everyone is overwhelmed with finals and final grading, Student Programs And Resources hosts a party for the whole college community.
Student organizations and vendors had tables set around the Commons Courtyard. The Green Team was just one of the groups working to interest students and employees alike to reduce, recycle and reuse. Bill Cook, police communications supervisor, stopped to say hello to Julie Hanson, school alliance coordinator, and Angela Shoultz, career planning specialist.
Terry Black, information systems/LAN support specialist, was just one of those who lined up to enjoy the lunch catered by Sonny Bryan’s barbeque.
There were a series of pinatas hung in courtyard for students to take a few quick swings and to grab some candy as they broke. While it may have been hard to get takers in the beginning, with the music of the Inner City All Stars Band flowing out through the courtyard the bat started swinging and candy was falling.
