Shane Baxter and Matthew Whitten, Ford automotive professors, achieved the “Ford ASSET Performance to Standards” goals for the third year in a row. The ASSET Program has standards requiring set levels of operational, performance and certification achievement.
The ASSET standards require all faculty in the program to be up-to-date in all Ford Service Technician Specialty Training and ASE certification. Ford STST is the exclusive training required by Ford Motor Company for technicians at Ford, Lincoln and Mercury dealers.
The ASSET program will receive $4,000 for meeting and exceeding the program standards.
