Techno Tip: Vista Fix For GroupWise

You may have noticed that while your new laptop or computer works just great, you are having trouble accessing GroupWise at
home. If your new machine has the Windows Vista operating system, you will need to make an adjustment to ensure you can get
to your district e-mail account online. A slight adjustment to Internet Explorer is required.
- Open Internet Explorer
- Go to the Tools menu
- Select Internet Options
- In the menu box select the Advanced tab
- Scroll down through the settings to the Security section
- Find SSL 2.0 and click on the check mark to unselect this
- Leave SSL 3.0 checked
- Uncheck Use TLS 1.0
- Choose OK to make your changes
