The first employee of the month for 2009 is Mary Beesley, administrative assistant for Career Resources/New Program Development.
"Mary is one of those 'quietly competent' individuals who utilizes her knowledge and skills to support a variety of curriculum projects in a number of areas throughout the college," said her nomination.
"In addition, she is a team player and frequently volunteers to provide assistance when others need a hand—whether it is welcoming those attending the Adjunct Faculty Colloquium or stepping in for a colleague who is out ill. Mary works well with our faculty and business/industry partners, delivers great customer service to students and community members, and demonstrates initiative when taking on projects."
