When the Brookhaven College Lady Bears volleyball team takes on Cedar Valley College on Oct. 15, the players will have more in mind than just winning.
The game, which will take place in the Brookhaven College gym, will serve as a rally for breast cancer awareness.
As an official “Dig Pink” game, all proceeds from the game will go toward the Side-Out Foundation to fund breast cancer research.
Admission is $3, and patrons are encouraged to wear pink.
“To ‘pink out’ the gym is our goal,” head coach Jason Hopkins said.
The Lady Bears, the 2008 Division III National Champions, currently hold an 8-2 record for the season.
So be sure to come out, cheer on your team and support a good cause Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. in the gym.
