Virginia Martinez
Visiting scholar Virginia Martinez recently had her review of the book “Becky and her Friends,” by Rolando Hinojosa, published in La Bloga, an online publication focusing on literature and writings by Hispanic authors.
Martinez, published under her maiden name Virginia Alanis, is a Mexico native raised in Dallas. She graduated from Southern Methodist University with a Bachelor and Master of Arts.
She is currently working on her first novel, which will portray the American dream from the perspective of Mexican-Americans.
