Exhibits Feature Dallas Artists

Works from the Brookhaven College
Art Department faculty will be
on display next month.

Exhibitions of works by Dallas artists Tom Orr and Sally Warren will be on display at Brookhaven College through Sept. 29 in the School of the Arts’ Forum and Studio galleries.

Tom Orr has brought new works in sculpture to the Forum Gallery. The Studio Gallery has works from Sally Warren with new, large-format, altered inkjet-on-film works.

On Oct. 6, the annual Art Faculty Exhibition will open in the Forum Gallery featuring works by 25 of the full-time and adjunct faculty members in the Art Department. The pieces highlight to range of art studio courses offered through the program. Charles DeBus, professor at Southern Methodist University, will exhibit photography in the Studio Gallery.

The exhibitions are free and open to the public. The Forum Gallery is located in Bldg. F, Room F101, and the Studio Gallery is located in Bldg. D, Room D127. Both galleries are open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For additional information about the gallery exhibitions, contact David Newman, gallery director, at 972-860-4101 or send an e-mail to dNewman@dcccd.edu.
