Scott Sires, GIS professor, will participate
in an upcoming coference.
Professors Sharon Jackson and Scott Sires will be presenters at the STEMtech Conference Oct. 31-Nov. 3 at Walt Disney World in Orlando.
The conference, created by the League of Innovation, aims to gather educators, industry leaders and more to discuss helping students succeed in science, technology, engineering and mathematics careers and majors.
Sharon, a mathematics professor, will present “A Training Module you can Count on!” The session will be presented as a round table, with Sharon discussing her techniques and strategies used to train more than 50 faculty members and tutors on the MyMathLab software.
Scott, a GIS professor, will also present.
