Two employees have been selected to serve on a special committee that works to provide resources for health industry careers and programs.
Mark Meyer, dean of nursing, and Annette Wilson, director of the Career Development Center, were recently selected to serve on the Steering Committee for the Health Careers Resource Center. Both were nominated for their positions by Dr. Richard D. McCrary, interim president.
Annette "will do an outstanding job on this committee as we move the concept of the HCRC forward," he said.
And of Mark, Dr. McCrary said, "[his] voice will be an important one as we move forward with this new resource!"
According to Molly Boyd, district director of the Health Careers Resource Center, "The Health Careers Resource Center is a district function providing resources and information about health careers and what it means to work in the health industry in Texas."
She continued: "The HCRC is a service to the colleges in the district and all current and future students in the health careers programs. We coordinate in-person and online access to the rich array of credit and continuing education health professions programs in the DCCCD, while helping students make appropriate choices of programs.”
