Employees of the Month

Employees of the Month

Congratulate Jill Williams, administrative assistant to the instructional dean for the School of the Arts, as the Professional Support Staff Association's Employee of the Month for March.

“Jill consistently goes beyond the ‘call’ to tirelessly help, guide, and support all of us in the School of the Arts,” a co-worker wrote. “At one time or another she has been a Mom, friend or teacher to us all.”

Jill, who will be retiring in August, was called "the glue that holds this division together," in her nomination.

For May, Michael Trubisky, building maintenance supervisor, was selected as Employee of the Month. Fellow employees gathered to share their thanks and appreciation on May 3.

With all the remodeling and updates that are still taking place at the college, the contributions of facilities services staff has been more visible for many. Michael took special steps to make sure that one employee was able to get back to work after an office makeover. His nomination noted that Michael took the time and made an extra effort to do this on an especially busy day.

The nomination also included a note that recognized the “contributions the facility services personnel make to our well-being.”
