Hip Hop for HIV, Brookhaven College Continue Partnership

Hip Hop for HIV, Brookhaven College Continue Partnership

Spread the news. The college is once again a testing site for the Hip Hop for HIV campaign. Anyone can get tested for HIV, and score free tickets to an exclusive concert. Sounds like a deal!

Hip Hop for HIV, the “test for tickets” program by KBFB 97.9 The Beat, will be at Brookhaven College on July 27 to offer free HIV screenings. Students, employees and the public are invited to get tested from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Health Center, Student Services Center, Room S072.

All who participate will receive free onsite medical counseling and one free ticket to the Hip Hop for HIV concert on Aug. 21, presented by 97.9 The Beat. The concert will feature major hip-hop artists T. Cash, Yung Nation, B Hamp, Dorrough, Doughski G and BMC Boyz from 3-6 p.m. at the Palladium Ballroom, 1135 S. Lamar in Dallas.

Hip Hop for HIV, entering its fourth year, encourages the Dallas community to get tested at any of the event’s testing sites and to know their HIV status. Testing and tickets are free, but the only way to get a ticket is to get tested.
