The Fall semester is still a month away, but everyone at the college is already buzzing about the last lecture.
Chosen by the Open Book Committee as this year's common reader, "The Last Lecture," illustrates the importance of overcoming obstacles, enabling the dreams of others and seizing every moment. Randy Pausch, college professor and the book's author, died of pancreatic cancer in July 2008. Before his death, he inspired the world with his final lecture at Carnegie Mellon University
and later with his book.
Don't miss the book or the thought-provoking activities that will go along with it!
