Two Career Development Center employees were recognized for their hard work and prowess this month: one by her peers and the other by her students.
Annette Wilson, director of Career Services, was named president of the Dallas County Community College District Career Services Council, an appointment that will last one year. The council, made up of representatives from each career services location across the District, is an avenue to “exchange ideas, receive updated information, tackle new issues and engage in professional development,” Annette said.
Also recognized for a job well-done was Gabrielle Trepagnier, senior career planning specialist. Voted the most-helpful person on campus by Elizabeth Watley’s speech class, Gabrielle was surprised with an impromptu visit from the class, along with a thank-you poster and one small gift from each student.
Great job, Annette and Gabrielle!
