May Book Recommendations

Below is a book recommended by one of your colleagues. The review itself is plucked directly from her email – it's in her own words and style. Enjoy!

“Wild” by Cheryl Strayed
I recommend Wild by Cheryl Strayed, which I saw on the New York Times non-fiction bestseller list. It details the experiences of a 20-something girl who feels that her life needs direction after a series of misfortunes and bad choices, and goes hiking alone on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) on the West Coast for about three months. In the process she discovers her strengths and the beauty of the world around her, and records her experiences in a fascinating memoir full of humor, insight and keen observations written with delightful fluidity.
