Be prepared for a crowd on July 24! A stream of potential students may be walking through the front door of the Student Services Center.
The fifth annual Hip Hop for HIV “test for tickets” program is back, and the college and KBFB 97.9 The Beat have once again partnered to offer free HIV screenings and onsite medical counseling to the public.
Each person who gets tested receives a free ticket to the exclusive Hip Hop for HIV concert, and with the Beat’s street team onsite airing live remote broadcasts, the event has the potential to draw a crowd.
Fall registration is in full swing, so encourage current and potential students to get tested, get tickets and get registered!
HIV testing will be from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. in the Health Center, Student Services Center, Room S072. The concert is Aug. 12 from 3-6 p.m. at the Fort Worth Convention Center. Hip Hop for HIV encourages the Dallas community to get tested at any of the event’s testing sites and to know their HIV status. Testing and tickets are free, but the only way to get a ticket is to get tested.
