Registration Changes for Spring

Registration Changes for Spring

Registration is well underway, but a few changes have been made to the process. Make sure you and your students are well informed.

Students who have not yet registered for the spring term by Jan. 16, which is two working days prior to the first day of the semester, will no longer be allowed to register.

Students who have already registered by the deadline will still be able to add or drop a class between Jan. 16 and Jan. 22, but no new students can register during that period. It is important to make sure your students understand this as it will be a big change for them. Between Jan. 16 and 22, students also will not be able to register for Flex term classes.

Also make sure students know that their tuition will increase this spring. The new rates are $52 per credit hour for Dallas County residents, $97 per credit hour for out-of-county residents and $153 per credit hour for out-of-state and out-of-country students.
