Our students are talented, and by talented, we mean...WOW.
This month two college groups earned top recognition among their peers. Congratulations to them and to their staff advisors!
Phi Theta Kappa Earns Stellar Reviews
The Brookhaven College Alpha Delta Pi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa turned heads at this year’s regional and international conventions and deserves to be recognized!
The chapter received the coveted Five-Star Chapter Award at last month’s regional convention in Austin, Texas, as well as at this month's international convention in San Jose, Calif. All chapter officers completed the Five-Star Competitive Edge Honors Program, and as an added bonus, the Texas Region was nominated as the Most Outstanding Region during the international convention.
Our dedicated staff didn’t miss out on recognition, either. George Herring, vice president of business services, received the Distinguished Administrator Award, and Sheri Van Court, world languages professor, came home with the Distinguished Advisor Award.
