BHC Recognized for Parade Participation

BHC Recognized for Parade Participation

The spirit of Brookhaven College students and staff did not go unnoticed at the 20th Annual W. T. White High School Homecoming Parade Oct. 17. Parade judges named Brookhaven College the “Best Walking Group.”

Sporting BHC green and armed with smiles and enthusiasm, 75 Brookhaven College participants stepped out into the community carrying signs and throwing candy to onlookers that lined the parade route. W. T. White dual credit students took front and center carrying the Brookhaven College banner.

Brookhaven College Outreach and Recruitment Coordinator Suzette Vaquera-Constantine organized the Brookhaven College participation assisted by Dominica McCarthy and Brian Borski from the Office of Student Life.

“It was wonderful to see all of our different campus organizations to come together for an event. The interaction among all our BC students was fantastic,” Vaquera-Constantine said. “This was a way for BC to promote all the different programs we have to offer. “

Brookhaven College student life organizations, academic departments and campus athletic teams were represented at the North Dallas community event.
