GEOL 1401,1403, and 1404 are 4 credit-hour core lab sciences. GEOL 1405 is a 4 credit-lab hours science which will transfer to most other institutions but may not be used to fulfill requirements for a BHC Associates' degree. Check your degree plan at your transfer institution. Most GEOL courses have an optional camping field trip. The Spring, 2007 trip will be to Central Texas February 23-25 and will cost approximately $95 per person. Earth Science • Core Curriculum

GEOL 1405 is a course with once-a-month field activities in addition to class discussions. There are no tests in GEOL 1405; grades are based on the degree and quality of participation. NOTE: GEOL 1401,1403, 1404 and 1445 are four-credit-hour Core Curriculum lab sciences. Students are encouraged to bring textbook and lab manual to their first class meeting.
