Portfolio and Transfer Preparation: This course is recommended for art majors wanting to transfer to a university either as an undergraduate or as a graduate student.

This course will integrate a traditional study of design with computer graphic applications.

ARTS 1312-2002, Three Dimensional Design, and ARTS 1311-2003, Two Dimensional Design, will be offered in collaboration. Students will work on the elements and principles of design through a coordinated series of assignments which transition from illusionary space to physical space. These linked sections are highly recommended for students majoring in art.

These classes will explore video as an artistic medium and will shoot and edit a short project as part of this class. Video cameras and software (Final Cut Express) will be provided.
