This course meets MW at 9 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. Students must also enroll in ENGL 1301-2051. Freedom: The American Story is a six-hour Learning Community offering credit in English 1301 and History 1301. Documents, biographies and literature of early America illustrate the narrative of history. The course makes use of eCampus technology and expects active student involvement. Emphasis is on writing and exploration of ideas rather than standardized tests. History of the U.S. • Core Curriculum
