Medical Terminology requires a computer with access to the Internet and e-mail along with Microsoft 2003 or 2007 software. This course is designed as a hybrid course that includes online instruction, online chapter quizzes and two on-campus exams. Course content is delivered online in PowerPoint presentations, threaded discussions, and textbook interactive activities along with self-assessments found on student's CD included with textbook. Introduction to Computers and Windows XP is a beginning computer course that focuses on the terminology of the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. In this 10-session course, students will learn components of personal computers. Hardware and software will be taught as well as menu bars, toolbars and shortcuts. You also will learn to name, save, locate and print files and use the word processing program to create, edit and format files. |
