The documents, biographies and literature of early America illustrate the narrative of history. This course makes use of eCampus technology and expects active student involvement. Emphasis is on writing and exploration of ideas rather than standardized tests. Composition I • Core Curriculum
This is an interdisciplinary Learning Community of English and Government. Students who register for ENGL 1301-2052 must also register for GOVT 2301-2012. This course meets TR from 9 a.m. to 11:50, offering a total of 6 hours of CORE curriculum credit. The course theme is "The Rhetoric of Politics." Students will examine the impact of language in shaping the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and its impact on the contemporary political process.
