This is an interdisciplinary Learning Community of english and government. Students who register for GOVT 2301-2012 must also register for ENGL 1301-2052. This Learning Community meets TR from 9-11:50 a.m., offering a total of 6 hours of CORE Curriculum credit. The course theme is "The Rhetoric of Politics." Students will examine the impact of language in shaping the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and its impact on the contemporary political process. The integration of courses offers students several benefits such as less expensive texts, unified assignments and a premium on student interaction.
