This is an interdisciplinary Learning Community of history and english. Students must also enroll in ENGL 1301-2053. This Learning Community meets MW at 9-11:40 a.m. The documents, biographies and literature of early America illustrate the narrative of history. The course makes use of eCampus technology and expects active student involvement. Emphasis is on writing and exploration of ideas rather than standardized tests. This is an interdisciplinary Learning Community of history and economics. Students who register for HIST 1302-2007 must also register for ECON 2302-2003. This Learning Community meets TR from 10:30 a.m.-1:20 p.m., offering a total of 6 hours of CORE Curriculum credit. History 1302 covers the history of the United States from Reconstruction to present day. These courses will focus particular attention to the economic development of the country as it moves from the 19th century into the 20th century industrial power.
