Beginning the spring semester of 2008, if a first time in college, FTIC, student's assessment test scores indicate a placement into two or more developmental studies disciplines, the student will be required to take either developmental reading or human development 0092, 1300, or 1310 Learning Framework
HDEV 1300 will help students to develop skills that will support their success in college. Topics include, but are not limited to motivation and self-discipline, time management, effective communication, understanding the psychology of the classroom, reading/writing techniques, note and test taking techniques, and the development of critical thinking skills.
