HDEV 1300 will help students develop skills that will support their success in college. Topics include, but are not limited to: motivation and self-discipline, time management, effective communication, test taking skills, reading/writing techniques, note taking, and the development of critical thinking skills. NOTE: Beginning the spring semester of 2008, if a first time in college, FTIC, student's assessment test scores indicate a placement into two or more developmental studies disciplines, the student will be required to take either developmental reading or human development 1300 or 1310.
