SUZUKI STRINGS PROGRAMChildren, ages three to 18, can find their musical voice through Suzuki-inspired courses in violin and viola. Our goal is providing rich and enjoyable music experiences that will contribute to the development of self-confident, happy children. Students receive weekly private lessons as well as twice-a-month group classes. Under the Suzuki method, daily listening to music is as vital as practicing performance techniques. The Suzuki program requires active participation of a parent, including attendance at lessons and daily practice with the child. A positive musical experience shared between parent and child is central to the Suzuki philosophy. All individual lessons are arranged by appointment with the Arts Academy director.
