Learn about your local geology! Then caravan to local sites and collect your own samples! Receive a 25-piece labeled Texas fossil kit! Also provided: CEU certificate, a notebook with proven classroom activities, Texas state geology map, “Texas Fossils; An Amateur Collectors Guide” text, a cool field hat and hand lens with lanyard!

Your instructor will be Ms. Irene Stemple, a well-known Fort Worth Museum of Science and History educator with years of experience in the geology and fossil sites of the Fort Worth metroplex area.

What to bring:
Lunch, water, sunscreen, closed-toe shoes, jacket or poncho, backpack, quart-sized zip-top bags, plastic grocery bags, marker, church key bottle opener with pry end, 8-10-inch screwdriver (no hammers please!)
