Welcome to the Dance Department

Brookhaven College School of the Arts’ Dance Department offers beginning, intermediate and advanced courses in ballet, jazz, modern, tap, pointe and composition. The level of instruction ranges from the adult beginner with no previous dance experience or training to advanced dance students and includes opportunities to perform and choreograph. A live accompanist is used for all ballet and modern classes. All classes are open to both credit and noncredit students. Morning, afternoon and evening classes are available to those over 13 years old.

The Dance Department is a part of the Brookhaven College School of the Arts, the major training and performance venue for all students of the college. The School of the Arts presents nationally known artists in performance and provides workshops for students and the surrounding communities of Farmers Branch, Carrollton and Addison.
