Adrien Cuellar-McGuire earned her Bachelor and Master of Arts in art history from Southern Methodist University and has been teaching humanities at Brookhaven College since 1997. She has the duties of providing assistance to the dean, lead instructor and fine arts lab coordinator. She also is the honors course coordinator and offers a special topic course for the honors humanities section.
Professor Cuellar-McGuire has been a co-sponsor of the Brookhaven College International Club since 1997. She, along with Charles McAdams, developed the online class for humanities. She and her husband, Christopher McGuire, are co-founders of the Fort Worth Classic Guitar Society. She enjoys teaching both in class and online.

Dr. Charles McAdams has a Bachelor of Music Education from Lousiana State University, a Master of Arts from Memphis State University and the Ph.D. degree from East Texas State University in addition to further graduate study at the University of Tennessee and North East Lousiana State University.
Dr. McAdams is completing his 45th year of teaching having developed or co-developed two self-paced music courses, a telecourse plus course and two totally online courses.
A former administrator who returned to the classroom 25 years ago, Dr. McAdams is a working musician with a great interest in things international.

Ricky Reeves earned his bachelor of music from East Texas State University and master of music from Southern Methodist University. Mr. Reeves has been teaching clarinet and music in the Dallas area since 1982. He is a member of the Dallas Wind Symphony and has recorded some 10-12 CDs with that group.
In addition to his teaching and performance schedule, Mr. Reeves is a visiting scholar at Brookhaven College, where his duties include teaching humanities and music. He taught humanities as an adjunct faculty member for five years prior to being appointed visiting scholar, and now serves as full-time faculty.

Edleeca Thompson was born in Shreveport, Louisiana to parents who valued liberal arts education. Ms. Thompson was encouraged early in life to pursue a career in the fine arts. She earned Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts degrees in art history and studio art at the University of Texas at Austin, then went on to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in studio art at the University of North Texas with a major in ceramics and a minor in photography.
After working as curator of exhibitions and collections at the African American Museum for six years, she pursued a Master of Arts in art history at Southern Methodist University. She has served on local, state and national fine arts panels and acquisitions committees and has participated in numerous conferences and workshops. Additionally, Ms. Thompson has curated local and national exhibitions and has presented numerous exhibitions of her own work in photography. She began her college teaching career in the DCCCD system as a photography instructor at Mountain View College in 1991. She also has taught both art appreciation and art history courses for Eastfield College, Collin County Community College, Texas A&M Commerce, and the University of Texas at Arlington. She is currently a full-time faculty member teaching courses in humanities and cultural studies. Along with Dr. Charles McAdams and Adrien Cuellar McGuire, Edleeca helped to develop the online class for the cultural studies course, Mexico: A Cultural Perspective. In her spare time, she takes French horn and classical guitar lessons at the college.
