Whether your goal is to be a whiz at electronic commerce or to work in
management, you can take a step into the vast world of business through the
programs at Brookhaven College. You will find skills achievement and certificate
courses that take you right to work. Students working toward obtaining a
certificate may take courses for the certificate without being required
to take the Texas Success Initiative examination. Contact an advisor or
the division office for more information. Core Curriculum courses that
transfer to a four-year college/university and associate degree programs
also are offered.
Congratulations! Brookhaven College Professor for Business Management, Ray F. Attner, was selected as one of only 15 professors in colleges and universities across the State of Texas as a 2006 Piper Professor for superior teaching at the college level.
In addition to the associate in arts and associate in sciences degrees offered, a student also may complete an official "Field of Study" plan, which is designed to transfer as a block of credit to any Texas public college or university. Field of Study degree plans are designed to meet the needs of students who plan to major in the field specified and transfer to a four-year college/university.
