The Brookhaven Courier, the award-winning campus newspaper, is a laboratory publication of the journalism, photography and visual communications classes at Brookhaven College. The newspaper begins its 29th year of publication in the fall of 2006.
Staff members of the Courier have won numerous awards for the newspaper through the years from the Associated Collegiate Press, Texas Intercollegiate Press Association and the Texas Community College Journalism Association.
