The Atrium Gallery exhibits six shows per year of work created by professionals in the visual communications fields as well as students and faculty in our program. Graphic designers, advertising studios, illustrators and other media specialists exhibit their work in our gallery giving our students and the surrounding community an opportunity to see the work these professionals produce. The Atrium Gallery is also home to the state-wide visual communications student juried competition, the Texas 2Show, which exhibits work from students in two year programs all over the state of Texas. The work is selected by area professionals.
Past professional shows include: Barron Storey: Illustration, The Illustration and Art of Bart Forbes, Chet Phillips Digital Illustration, GroupBaronet, The Dallas Society of Illustrators Members Show, George Toomer Illustration and Social Commentary, Don Crum Design, Ray-Mel Cornelius and Kelly Strubing-Southerland, Fossil, Ted Forbes.
The Visual Communications Faculty Show is exhibited in the Spring semester.
