In the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program, every class in the series is a unique learning opportunity, facilitated by an experienced nonprofit manager who “walks the talk.” Participatory learning activities address the real-life challenges that managers encounter in today's nonprofit workplace. Courses are created by practitioners for practitioners in the context of a college setting–professional development at its best! The NMC Program courses meet the Continuing Education Credit Policy for candidates seeking certification through CFRE International. Completion of the Nonprofit Management Certificate Program–a series of seven classes–can be included for a maximum of 45.5 continuing education points on your CFRE application for initial certification or recertification. You also will earn continuing education units and a certificate of completion awarded by Brookhaven College and Dallas’ Center for Nonprofit Management. |

Collaborative learning means that you will benefit from the insights and experience of nonprofit practitioners throughout North Central Texas. The certification program provides a framework through which participants can better understand the context of their work as nonprofit managers. Participants gain valuable knowledge and skills that help them identify opportunities for accomplishing positive change in their organizations–right now. This series of professional development workshops endows participants with the perspective and capacity needed to more effectively deliver on their agency’s mission. |
