English for Speakers of Other Languages

English for Speakers of Other Languages, ESOL, courses are designed to improve the English communication skills of individuals whose native language is other than English.

There are eight ESOL levels offered to serve the needs of immigrants, permanent residents and United States citizens. Our courses also serve the needs of professional personnel working or training in the United States, international students and visitors. We teach reading, writing, listening, speaking and pronunciation.

Our students are:

• non-traditional;
• culturally, educationally and linguistically diverse;
• motivated to improve their careers and life skills; and
• committed to learning English.

Our courses are:

• non-credit continuing education classes;
• taught in English;
• multi-level; and
• respectful of diverse cultures.
