Cadaver Lab

In conjunction with Parker College of Chiropractic Gross Anatomy Lab Roy Yamada, M.D., Brookhaven College EMS Program Medical Director, and the Paramedic Faculty will lead the paramedic students through several advanced paramedic skills including surgical-airway management, needle thoracostomy of the chest, and peripheral intraosseous needle placement of a cadaver. The lab opportunity allows for essential skills practice in preparation for treatment of real-life, critical pre-hospital patients as well as familiarization of human anatomy.
