    • Radiation Biology and Protection,
    • Radiographic Image Evaluation, and
    • Radiographic Pathology.

  • All lab courses are taught at RHD Memorial Medical Center and Medical Center of Plano.

A. A. S. Paramedicine

  • 78 hours of instruction, 35 credit hours of paramedic coursework.


  • Preparation for the paramedic National Registry Exam.


      • Alex Stadthagen, NREMT-P, AAS, LP, EMS director.

Paramedicine Certificate
  • Level II Certificate 36 hours of EMS training, up to 12 credit hours of college-level coursework.


    • Prepares students for National Registry EMT-Paramedic certification.

EMT, Basic Certificate
  • Certificate includes 16 hours of EMS training.


    • Prepares students for the National Registry Exam for Emergency Medical Technician–Basic Certification.

EMS/Paramedicine
  • Specific course titles include:
    • Trauma Management,
    • EMS Operations,
    • Weapons of Mass Destruction, and
    • Medical Emergencies.

  • Clinical experience includes riding out with hospital, ambulance and fire department personnel.
