Supplemental Learning Program
The Supplemental Learning Program is designed to help students enrolled in select developmental math courses at Brookhaven College by providing them with twice-weekly study sessions.

Each SLP session runs 50 minutes and is directed by a student SLP leader. During any given session, a student may review lecture notes or texts, prepare for tests or work on improving learning strategies. Throughout the course of the program, students will develop a better understanding of course material and learn more effective approaches to studying.

SLP leaders are trained Brookhaven College students. Leaders attend lectures, take notes and observe student interaction in the courses they are assigned. They use this information when leading sessions.

Students participating in SLP must attend at least one session per week.
