Brookhaven Bears Basketball Team

Our Philosophy

In Class

Without academics, there are no athletics. Our basketball players will be students first. Without that priority, they will end up being ineligible for athletics - thereby hurting themselves and their teammates, while severely limiting their future options.

On the Court

The Bears employ an up-tempo, team-oriented game by full court pressing for 40 minutes, utilizing 10-12 players every game, and putting points on the board in bunches. In five of the last six years, the team scored 90 points or higher per game and looks for more of the same in 2007-2008. The coaching staff travels the state (and sometimes the country) in an effort to locate student-athletes capable of putting the Bears in National Championship contention year after year.

Thank you for your interest in Bears Basketball.
