Men's Basketball
Our Philosophy
In Class
Without academics, there are no athletics. Our basketball players
will be students first. Without that priority, they will end up being ineligible for athletics - thereby hurting themselves
and their teammates, while severely limiting their future options.
On the Court
The Bears employ an up-tempo, team-oriented game by full court pressing for 40 minutes, utilizing 10-12 players every game,
and putting points on the board in bunches. In addition to their 2008 conference co-championship and 25-6 record, the team
was second in the nation in scoring in 2007-2008. Furthermore, in seven of the last 10 years, the team scored 90 points or
higher per game and looks for more of the same in 2010-2011. The coaching staff travels the state (and sometimes the country)
in an effort to locate student-athletes capable of putting the Bears in national championship contention year after year.
Thank you for your interest in Bears Basketball.
