Head Women’s Soccer Coach
Brookhaven College welcomes John Antonisse as the new head women's soccer coach. Antonisse joins the college after a lengthy and successful coaching stint at University of Texas at Dallas.
In his 17 years at the helm of the Comets' women's soccer program, he amassed a winning record of 208 wins, 94 defeats and 34 ties. He led his teams to nine conference championship games—winning in 2002 and 2004. In 2002 they were an NCAA regional finalist and went on to the 2011 NCAA National Tournament.
Antonisse was a five-time American Southwest Conference Coach of the Year/Divisional Coach of the Year. His student athletes consistently held the highest team GPA at UTD, receiving academic honors in conference as well as the District and National NCAA levels.
He is active in the community, having earned the UTD Outstanding Service Award in 2003 and continues to coach the U-14 Dallas Texans Girls-North team.
Antonisse received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Arts from Amberton University. He holds a United States Soccer Federation "A" coaching license and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America, Premiere coaching diploma.
