The Core Curriculum

In order to be eligible for a bachelor's degree at a Texas public college or university, much must first complete a Core curriculum of courses

If you successfully complete a Core curriculum here at Brookhaven College, you can transfer those classes to another college or university for full credit, guaranteed.

You may apply two German courses toward your Core curriculum.

  • GERM 1411 or GERM 1412 can be taken to complete the Speaking and Listening requirement of Tier 1.
  • GERM 2311 or GERM 2312 can be taken to complete the Foreign Language - Humanity, Creativity and the Aesthetic Experience requirement of Tier 2.
