Official Sponsor of IIE's Intensive English USADesigned to prepare international students on F-1 Visas for success in college-level courses conducted in English, the Intensive English Program combines American cultural studies with the English for Speakers of Other Languages program, or “ESOL.” The ESOL program covers four competency levels of listening/speaking, reading, writing and grammar to improve English skills in preparation for a college degree. Multicultural reading selections, westernized critical thinking, rhetorical modes, process writing, proofreading and oral presentations are addressed in each level.
